As a Cap Corps Volunteer, you will:

• Serve as a full-time volunteer at a community-based organization, parish or school.Practice your spirituality through common prayer with your community, retreats and work with a spiritual director.Explore social justice and Catholic Social Teaching by analyzing your day-to-day experience with your community and the Capuchin Franciscans.
• Commit to a sustainable lifestyle in community with 2 - 4 other Cap Corps volunteers.

To support you, Cap Corps will:

• Provide for your basic needs and the opportunity to earn an AmeriCorps Education Award. 

• Offer orientation and three retreats throughout the year to encourage the deepening of your spirituality and commitment to social justice.

• Connect you to the network of Capuchin-Franciscans and their partners in ministry who are attending to basic human needs and promoting justice throughout the Midwest and Central America.
