If you have not yet completed your application, please refrain from submitting information relating to marital status, number of dependents and religious background.

  • After submitting this form, Cap Corps will send you a link to the full application as well as contact you regarding your interest.

  • February 15, 2012 is the priority deadline date for international applications.  We will consider applications for the international program on a rolling basis after the priority pool is screened (beginning April 1, 2012).
  • March 15, 2012 is the priority deadline date for domestic applications.  We will consider applications for the domestic program on a rolling basis after the priority pool is screened (beginning May 1, 2012).
  • After reviewing your application, Cap Corps staff will call you to set up a phone or Skype conversation.  Following this conversation, applicants may be invited to interview in person in Chicago. The dates we are considering are: March 24-25 or March 31-April 1, 2012 for international applicants and April 21-22 or April 28-29 for domestic applicants.  Travel to interview weekend is at the expense of the applicant.  If an applicant is unable to travel to an interview weekend, we can do an interview on Skype or the telephone.
  • Note about interview weekends: Each applicant will have a one-on-one interview during the weekend, as well as the opportunity to hear from current and former Cap Corps volunteers, other applicants, Capuchins and Cap Corps staff. We strongly encourage attending as it is helpful in the applicant's discernment process.

  • Note about placement process:  Cap Corps staff does the best to match accepted applicants with their first or second preferences for ministry and/or geographical placement.  We do ask for some flexibility on the behalf of the applicant, as our common goal is to make the best placements based on the needs and charisms of each service site as well as our desire to create communities made up of people who will work well together.
